The sky turns gray, the rain falls fast, They zip their bags, the clouds won’t last. With little steps but hearts so strong, They walk to school and move along.
Umbrellas up, their shoes go splash, Through puddles wide they laugh and dash. No hands to hold, yet not alone, For Mama’s words are softly known.
“Be brave, take care, and think things through, I trust the strength I see in you.” They cross the roads, they wait, they see, They act with care and dignity.
When school is done, the rain still stays, They head back home through misty haze. Wet but proud, they smile wide Responsibility as their guide.
For in their hearts, so warm and true, Are lessons taught that help them through. Even in rain, they find their way, Growing stronger every day.
